BARBARA SAVERY focuses on providing full service counseling to homebuilders, property owners, lenders and others involved in the real estate industry. Her practice focuses on land acquisition and finance, land use entitlements, land use and real estate litigation, and post-acquisition operation and management of real property, including homeowners' association formation, management and leasing.

Ms. Savery was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to Brazil and attended the Universidade da Bahia for a year. She was an editor of the Law Review and authored "Eminent Domain by Regulation: Developing a Unified Field Theory for the Regulatory Taking" for Golden Gate University Law Review, 17 Gold. G. Univ. L. Rev. 197 (1987). She was an associate with Pillsbury Winthrop (San Francisco) and The Castleman Law Firm (Pleasanton) before joining Petrulakis Jensen & Friedrich, LLP. She is a graduate of Leadership Tuolumne County, and a member of the State Bar of California, the Stanislaus County Bar Association and the Tuolumne County Bar Association. Ms. Savery is a LEED AP, and obtained her green building certification to assist clients in this emerging area.
